A hectic few days! | BLOGMAS 2017 DAY 20 & 21

Apologies for the late posting! The last couple of days have been chaotic getting everything sorted in the run up to Christmas so this is just a little update of what I've been up to and how I'm feeling!
After braving Tesco on Tuesday, Wednesday saw me, my brother and my dad heading out to take our chances on Aldi! Our local one is ALWAYS a nightmare to get in but we wanted to try as their prices are amazing! We managed to pull into the car park but there was a queue of people waiting for others to come out with their shopping to go and take their space! People were honking and I was getting so wound up because I HATE when people beep when there's no where to go in front!! I'm in the same predicament as you are, pal! We managed to get into one of the disabled bay, get my dad out the car, grab a trolley and head inside!

After about an hour we were done! Shopping packed into the car, dad's wheelchair successfully maneuvered into the boot and it was time to head home, put the Aldi purchases away and head to Sainsbury's! Are we insane? Yes. The answer is yes!!

We arrived at Sainsbury's with a strict list to stick to! This was the last stop for Christmas food and drink so we made our way around as quickly as possible! It wasn't too busy which was okay, but I was so shattered from Aldi I wanted to be in and out! After using my brother's staff discount and my dad's Nectar points that he had saved up through the year, it only came to just over £25! For a shop that was just over £100 to start with! I felt like we had robbed the place!!

It's safe to say I slept like a baby that night!!

Then yesterday I spent the day at my sister's. My mum was round there and as she lives in Kent I don't see her as often as I used to. We had a cheap and cheerful lunch in the Morrisons cafe and I couldn't stop myself from picking up just a few more things! Just some extra chocolates and another pudding! What?! My dad said it's not Christmas without Matchmakers!! But I will admit, the red velvet cake was more me being greedy!

We got home about 5:30pm, and it was time to crack on and make a lasagne! I was going to get on and write my two missing posts yesterday but I had started to give myself a gel manicure by the time I remembered (a festive red if you were wondering)! I decided to leave it for the day and just get it written up today!

I feel exhausted just writing this! I take my hat off to those who are working long days to get home and then have to think about Christmas preparations!! You are the real Christmas superheroes!!

All that's left to do now is give the house a little spruce up!

How are you feeling with a few days left before the big day? Have you got everything ready or do you still need to pop out and get a few more bits? Let me know in the comments below or on Twitter here!

Thank you for reading and I'll see you tomorrow at 7pm for Blogmas day 23 that'll be on time!
